Plano 100 Plastic Toolbox, Branded for Hechinger Hardware Store

This is a classic Plano Model 100 15-inch toolbox from the 1980s, carrying the Hechinger name and logo. Hechinger was the DC area’s local hardware and home improvement chain years before the big box stores came. Boxes like this one may turn up at garage sales and thrift stores in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, but are pretty rare. Condition: The toolbox is in good shape. It’s a dull red color with some scuffs on the bottom, sides, and top. No odors and a fully functional latch that stays closed when the latch is engaged. Dimensions: 15″ in length
